Day 9: Japanese Splurge

Today, we were supposed to go for shopping at Gotemba Premium Outlet before the 3% tax increase on April 1st. However, there was a train disruption that caused long train delays. Unfortunately, we decided to cancel the shopping day and to go straight to our next destination: Hakone.

Beside the cherry blossoms viewing, I have been waiting for this day to come, our biggest splurge ever: staying at a luxury japanese ryokan with private onsen!

The room we booked is the cheapest room available in this ryokan: $300 CAD per night per person! No you haven't read wrong! That's the most expensive stay I have ever paid for! But this price includes a 10+ course dinner and breakfast, access to a public and private onsen, and 5 star service! And omg, the FOOOOD! It's like Japanese version of Europea! I feel like in Heaven! :))
